| Early January rain caused some initial concern in the lead-up to vintage 2005. Then the skies cleared and the rest of Summer remained warm and dry. Fruit flavours developed later this vintage but patience was rewarded with excellent fruit flavours and fine tannin structure in the final wine. Oxford Landing FactCabernet Sauvignon is the original and oldest planting at Oxford Landing with some vines in excess of 40 years old. These vines are believed to be some of the first planted in the region. |
