| Weather conditions throughout the growing season and leading into the 2003 harvest were typically warm and dry. February brought enough rain to refesh the vines without causing any disease pressure, and the cooler conditions that followed were perfect for fruit ripening and flavour development. Oxford Landing FactVine husbandry is vital in creating microclimates in the vineyard to achieve the perfect balance of light, shade and coolness. Each of these microclimates is managed meticulously to ensure the fruit develops a unique flavour profile to enhance depth and complexity in the final wine. |
